The National Championship “Young Professionals” was held in Kazan without any incidents

(KZN.RU, May 28, Alina Berezhnaya). 6542 law enforcement officers provided public order in Kazan in the days of the VII National Championship “Young Professionals”. There were no incidents on the days of the competition, said Emil Gubaidullin, the general director of the Center for the Development of Professional Competencies, the manager of the project WorldSkills Kazan 2019, today at the briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the RT.

According to him, the championship allowed testing all the services that will be involved in the world championship WorldSkills Kazan 2019 in August. In particular, the catering services, meetings and accommodation of participants, transport services, and others have been tested.

7 arrival points were organized for the participants of the championship: the Kazan International Airport, railway stations Kazan-1, Kazan-2, bus stations Tsentralny, Yuzhny, Severny, and Vostochny.

1348 people were settled in hotels and other accommodation facilities, 1399 people lived in the WorldSkills Village.

The transport support involved 100 buses of urban and tourist type and 15 minibusses.

“In general, about 60 thousand people visited the National Championship, which allowed testing the main grounds for the World Championship WorldSkills Kazan 2019”, said E. Gubaidullin.

The Tatarstan team won first place in the final standings of the WorldSkills Russia 2019. The winning team received 447.5 points for 55 golden, 47 silver, 39 bronze medals and 25 medallions for professionalism. Winners of the final will be recommended to the expanded WorldSkills Russia national team and will get a chance to present Russia at the World Championships in Shanghai in 2021 and at the European Championships EuroSkills in St. Petersburg in 2022.
