The largest chak-chak will allow the capital of Tatarstan to enter the Book of Records of Russia.
(KZN.RU, May 15, Ksenia Shvetsova). The second stage of the festival “Delicious Kazan” will be held at the World Cup, which will take place in the capital of Tatarstan this summer. It is planned to cook the largest chak-chak weighing about 1300 kilograms. Daria Sannikova, the director of the Committee on Tourism Development, announced this today at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers.
A tablecloth will be woven specially for the festival. It will have elements and symbols of all countries taking part in matches that will be held in the capital of Tatarstan. The length of the tablecloth will be about 150 meters. “This will be the most hospitable table covered with the most hospitable tablecloth in the world”, noted D. Sannikova. She also added that a special expert will be invited to the festival, which will record the weight of the chak-chak and add Kazan to the Russian Book of Records.
The second stage of the festival “Delicious Kazan” will be held within the framework of the Fan-Fest, which will bring together residents, fans, and guests of the city on the site near the Family Center “Kazan”.
In addition, on June 6, the Gorky Culture and Leisure Park in Kazan will host the Gastronomic Map of Russia festival. The main goal of it is the popularization of gastronomic rural tours throughout the country, promotion of dishes of different peoples of Russia. “This festival includes 11 food trucks that will travel to Russian cities, but only where the championship will be held”, said D. Sannikova.
