The streets of Shershenevich, Dmitriev, Zevakhin, Murzin, and Usmanov will appear on the map of the Sovetsky district of Kazan.
(KZN.RU, January 31). The newly formed streets of the Sovetsky district of Kazan will be named after Shershenevich, Dmitriev, Zevakhin, Murzin, and Usmanov. The corresponding resolution was signed in the Executive Committee of the city and published in the Collection of documents and legal acts.
New streets will appear on the territory of the KFU University campus located in the Sovetsky district of Kazan. The street №1 will have the name of a lawyer, civil lawyer, professor of Kazan and Moscow Universities Gabriel Shershenevich. The name of Maksim Dmitriev, a participant of the Great Patriotic War, a Hero of the Soviet Union, and a native of Kazan, will be given to the street №2. The street №3 will be named in honor of Mikhail Zevakhin, a participant of the Great Patriotic War, a Hero of the Soviet Union, buried in Kazan. Fourth Street will have the name of Dayan Murzin, the legendary intelligence officer, a participant of the World War II. The fifth street will be named after Mirkasym Usmanov, a Soviet and Russian historian, an archeographer, a doctor of historical sciences, a member of the Academy of Sciences of the RT, a professor of the Kazan State University.
