The “Kino-battle” will be held between Kazan and Ufa in the Aksenov House

Viewers will be able to take part in the online voting for the best movie within the project.

(KZN.RU, October 24). On October 27, the republican project “Kino-battle: Kazan – Ufa” starts in the Kazan Museum of V. Aksenov. Within the framework of the event, a cycle of short films screenings with creative meetings, skype sessions, lectures, master classes in an adversarial format and counting of audience votes are scheduled.

The Kazan program will be shown in cinemas in Bashkortostan, and the Ufa program in Tatarstan. In total, 50 sessions are planned for each region. According to the organizers, the goal of the project is to attract the attention of viewers and to unite screenings of neighboring regions, to expand the geography of a short meter and increase interest in modern national cinema.

Viewers will be able to take part in online voting on the following resources: “KinoMayak”, “Realnoe Vremya”, and “MovieStart”. The results of the battle will be announced on December 27, on the eve of the International Day of Cinema. At the same time, they will prepare a rolling short-story almanac “Kino-battle. Winners”.

Within the framework of the project, the organizers will show a pair of Tatarstan and Bashkir films in the genre of drama, comedy, and will also introduce the viewer to the national arthouse in the Aksenov House.

The program of the first day of the project includes the wordless film “Sukhaya Reka” (Rus. “Sukhaya River”), by the script of the famous Kazan writer. The movie made by artists from the capital of Tatarstan, the owners of the prize of the Film Critics Guild. Also, the “Lichnoe Delo” (Rus. “Personal File”) by the Ufa director about the history of the ordinary soldier Kornilov will be shown on this day.
