Ilsur Metshin: «Each of us can start doing New Year's wonders and fulfill the dreams of our young Kazan residents»

The Mayor of Kazan participated in a charity event «The New Year Tree of Wishes» – he will fulfill the wishes of three children

The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin will fulfill the New Year wishes of three young residents of the city – Timur P., Dmitry V. and Ilyaz S. He took three postcards with the wishes of these children from the “New Year Tree of Wishes” installed in the Kazan City Hall.

«In the new year, each of us can start doing New Year's wonders and fulfill the dreams of our young Kazan residents. It's easy to do. A “Tree of Wishes” has been installed in the City Hall. Each ball on it is not just a decoration, but contains wishes of our young residents. Dear deputies, I ask each of you to participate in the event and bring them magic as Father Frost and Snow Maidens!» – said the Mayor Ilsur Metshin.

The desires of the children turned out to be very different. Timur P. dreams of becoming friends with a real clown, Dmitry V. wants a synthesizer for his New Year's gift, and Ilyaz S. wants to learn football skills from the Rubin footballer.

For reference, both children who have shared their dreams and citizens of the city willing to fulfill wishes can take part in the “New Year Tree of Wishes” charity event. Registration is available on the Good Kazan website.

Applications from children will be accepted until December 20th, and performers can join the event from December 10th to January 31st, 2026.
