The festival of energy saving, the Russian Tennis Championships, the Vietnamese Autumn Festival are waiting for Kazan citizens and guests this weekend.

(KZN.RU, September 21). The summer season has come to an end, but interesting events in Kazan are not limited to warm days. We offer you options for active recreation in the warm September weekend. You can spend Saturday in the Gorky Park at the All-Russia Energy Saving Festival, where a large number of activities and performances of star guests are expected. Sunday will start with the harvest festival on the Kremlevskaya embankment, and in the evening you can join the Vietnamese Autumn Festival “Chung Tuhu”.

The Flower Festival

On the square in front of the Puppet Theater “Ekiyat”, residents and guests of the city can see unique compositions created by the landscape companies, plant nurseries, housing and communal and construction companies.

The Russian Tennis Championship

September 22 and 23 at 9 am

Qualification games of the Russian Tennis Championship will be held at the Kazan Tennis Academy. More than 200 strongest athletes will compete for the title in five categories: in singles and doubles among women and men and in a mixed one. Tennis players from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Saransk, and Samara will come to the capital of Tatarstan.

The exhibition of rare photographs “Old Kazan”

There is an exhibition of rare photographs “Old Kazan” on the Kremlevskaya embankment, provided by the State Archives of the Republic. Our city is imprinted as it was in the 20-30s of the last century. The guests of the exhibition will see how the city sights looked and what the everyday life of Kazan residents was like. According to experts, the collection of photographs cards has great historical and cultural value.

The festival “Vmeste Yarche”

The Gorky Park will join the All-Russian Festival of Energy Saving “Vmeste Yarche” (Rus. “Together Brighter”). Also, an interactive children's play will be shown there, exercycle will be installed with a power indication, and the city's best DJs will arrange the music. In the evening, the performances of the finalist of the project “The Voice” Elmira Kalimullina and special guest Oleg Miami will be waiting for everyone. In addition, everyone will be able to exchange ordinary light bulbs for energy-saving ones.

The creative space “Mayakovsky” will celebrate its first birthday. At 3 pm, a series of thematic master classes will begin. At 6 pm, there will be the party “Poets of the Present”. Also, the “Art-zone” with paintings of modern art, dance battles will be arranged at the event. The headliners are the bands “t3tri” and “Ani”.

The Vietnamese Autumn Festival “Chung Tuhu”

Vietnamese society of Tatarstan “Doanket” will celebrate “Chung Tuhu” in the House of Friendship of Peoples. The Mid-Autumn Festival is also called the children's festival of the moon. It is accompanied by torchlight processions, games and cooking Vietnamese cuisine. Children especially wait for this holiday, because adults usually give them holiday toys, for example, paper lanterns “ong shao”, depicting fairy-tale characters, masks, pies of the middle of autumn “banynyong” and “banzeo”.
