The New Wave 2025 international contest opens today in Kazan

All tickets for the festival, which takes place in the capital of Tatarstan for the first time, were sold out, 90% of these tickets were purchased by tourists

Tonight, the grand opening of the New Wave 2025 International contest for young pop singers will take place in Kazan at the New Wave Hall, located at the Ak Bars Arena. Russian pop stars will perform at this concert.

Young singers will compete for the chance to further develop their careers in the music industry on August 22-24. Along with the contestants, well-known artists such as Irina Allegrova, Stas Mikhailov, Alsu, Tatiana Bulanova, Lusya Chebotina, Ani Lorak, Sergey Lazarev, Gregoriy Leps, Klava Koka, Anna Asti, and Ivanushki International will perform on August 21-26. Each night of the festival will have its own unique program. On August 22, after the performances by the contestants, a creative evening by Larisa Dolina with the participation of other stars will take place. On August 23, it will be Premiere Day, and on August 24, the Ivanushki International group will hold a tribute concert. A gala concert will be held on August 25 and the closing ceremony will take place on August 26.
