Ilsur Metshin opened the ninth architectural and urban planning conference «Dialogues»

The ninth architectural and urban planning conference «Dialogues» opened in Kazan today. The event takes place at the Adonis Creative Cluster, which was opened on the site of a former garment factory. The forum opened with a plenary session «A city for rapid self-realization», attended by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and invited experts. Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the Chief Architect of Kazan, moderated the discussion. Participants discussed ways to create conditions for rapid self-realization of young people and the launch of new startups.

The «Dialogues» conference was the first event held at the Adonis Creative Cluster, which is located in a four-story building on Profsouznaya Street, in the former garment factory building. The owner of the building, Kazan entrepreneur Irek Galiev, has plans to turn Adonis into a hub for the development of creative projects.

Ilsur Metshin expressed his gratitude to Irek Galiev for creating a fully-fledged creative center. «Such projects are born first in the heart and then in the mind. Irek is a rare entrepreneur who works in various areas, from medicine to retail. It gives me great pleasure when entrepreneurs reach a level where they can engage in socially significant projects rather than just buying another yacht in Monaco. These teams grow and create things that will last for centuries», – said the Mayor of Kazan.
